Terms and Conditions for The School of Arabic
1. Acceptance & Agreement
By registering a child with the School of Arabic, parents/guardians agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Fees & Payment
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment for the term.
- The School of Arabic is a non-for-profit organisation. All fees contribute directly to operational costs, teacher remuneration, and learning materials.
- Refunds will be issued only if a class is cancelled by the School due to minimum enrolment numbers not being met.
- No refunds or credits are issued for sessions missed due to a pupil's absence, including illness or family circumstances.
3. Cancellations & Changes by the School
- The School of Arabic reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or combine classes.
- In the event of cancellation due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances, the School will endeavour to arrange a make-up session. No cash refunds will be given.
- The School's liability in any such circumstance is limited to the value of the fees paid for the affected term.
4. Pupil Welfare & Conduct
- While every precaution is taken to ensure safety, the School of Arabic and its staff cannot be held responsible for loss, damage, or personal injury sustained by a pupil on the premises, except where proven to be a direct result of the School's negligence.
- The School reserves the right to exclude, without refund, any pupil found to be bullying, behaving disruptively, or repeatedly violating the School's code of conduct.
5. Health & Medical
- Parents/guardians must declare all relevant medical conditions, allergies, and special educational needs during registration and keep this information updated by emailing info@schoolofarabic.org.
- In a medical emergency where a parent cannot be contacted, the parent/guardian authorises the School to seek and consent to any necessary medical treatment.
- Children must not attend class if they have exhibited signs of contagious illness (e.g., fever, vomiting) within the last 48 hours.
6. Data Protection & Privacy
- We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. It is the parent's/guardian's responsibility to provide accurate data and to inform us of any changes.

7. Property & Personal Belongings
The School of Arabic accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal property brought onto the premises.
8. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
- To ensure all information provided to the School is accurate and kept up-to-date.
- To ensure their child attends regularly and punctually and adheres to the School's code of conduct.
- To settle fees promptly by the stated deadlines.
- To complete any additional consent forms required for specific events or trips.
9. General
- These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement.
- The School may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. The current version will be communicated to enrolled families.
